Overview

This is the most popular route to the summit of Mount Toubkal (4,167m), condensed into two days for travelers with limited time. You’ll trek from Imlil to the Toubkal Refuge on day one, rest and acclimatize, then wake before dawn for the summit push on day two before descending back to Imlil. Mohamed paces the climb to your fitness level and adjusts timing around weather and snow conditions.

Itinerary

Step 1

Day 1 — Imlil to Toubkal Refuge

Meet in Imlil and begin the trek through the Mizane Valley, passing the last mountain villages before the trail climbs steadily to the Toubkal Refuge (3,207m). Overnight at the refuge with dinner included.

Step 2

Day 2 — Summit and Descent

Early start (typically 4:30–5:00am) to reach the summit for sunrise, weather permitting. After time at the top, descend back to the refuge for a late breakfast, then continue down to Imlil where the trek concludes.
